Due to the ever increasing popularity of the SMC rideouts, we would appreciate your co-operation with the following simple system of group riding to ensure that we all keep together, stay safe and enjoy the excellent routes we've got planned.

 

On the approach to a junction or roundabout, Flip (as lead rider) will indicate (by raising his arm, then pointing) to the rider immediately behind him to pull over and wait for the rest of the group to pass, pointing out the direction to take as they go by, before rejoining the group at the back.

 

This simple process will be repeated at every junction, unless the direction is obviously straight ahead!

 

SMC rideouts are informal and relaxed, no pressure, no schedule!

Just interesting routes, good fun and great company!
