In the event of the insured motorcycle being a total loss, you can protect yourself against incurring a loss.
Retail Price Protection GAP pays the difference between the motorcycle insurance settlement and the invoice price (or the early settlement figure if the insured motorcycle is subject to a finance agreement, and the early settlement amount is greater than the invoice price)

Comprehensive Insurance RPP GAP will provide cover, in the case of a successful claim
for total loss resulting from the accident, fire or theft of the motorcycle.
If you
have Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance RPP GAP will provide cover, in the case
of a successful claim against a third party loss resulting from accident, or from
your motorcycle insurer for the total loss resulting from the fire or theft. Own
fault accidents, where no third party is liable, will not be covered.
